About this site

This website exists because a resume is good at compression and bad at nuance.

It can say that I work on a credit limit system for a large bank, or that I spent years in computational mechanics, but it says very little about how I think through problems or what kind of engineering work sits behind those lines.

I wanted a place for the longer version: project notes, technical writing, research leftovers, and the occasional post about backend systems, reliability, Linux, developer tooling, applied AI in software delivery, agent and skill design, or the strange work of moving old platforms into newer ones without breaking the business in the process.

My background is split between software engineering and mechanical engineering research, so the topics here will probably reflect that. I tend to like work that can survive close inspection and still make sense. That seems like a reasonable editorial policy.
